How To Set a Time Zone on Your Phones and Server

From Trixbox Pro Help

Jump to: navigation, search

When you set up your trixbox Pro server, you will want to set the time zone on your phones and server. To change the time zone on your phones and server, you should first understand that there are two locations where this configuration occurs:

  1. In the trixbox Pro server, all call logs, voicemails, and other information that remains on the server with timestamps are set according to the time zone set on your server. You can administer this through the Admin Web Interface in the “Options” tab.
  2. If you use IP phones, each one has a local configuration programmed into the actual phone where the time zone needs to be configured.

Once you have the time zone set properly on the trixbox Pro system, the next step is to change the time zone on each IP phone. Detailed instructions are provided below for each.
