Configuring VoIP on your trixbox Pro

If your trixbox Pro will be placing or receiving calls via a Voice over IP connection, additional configuration will be required.
You will you need to open your firewall to allow the VoIP connection in from your VoIP provider to get to your trixbox Pro. These ports will vary depending on your type of connection:
- IAX2
- UDP/4569
- SIP
- UDP/5060
- UDP/10000-51000
In addition to opening these ports, you will need to get the following information from your VoIP provider. This is just the example of the minimum information required, your VoIP provider may require additional configuration. Typically, the more information you can get, the better. Be sure to include this information, along with the contact information for your VoIP provider with the installation request email in Section 7.

To add this information to your trixbox Pro, you simply log into the trixbox Pro Admin Panel, click on Options, voip.
