How do I manually enable Hardware Echo Cancellation (HWEC)?

Please do not follow these instructions if your PRI card connects to a RHINO CHANNEL BANK.

If you purchased a Sangoma A10X card with HWEC, and you are experiencing echo (particularly if you are using a PRI), please follow these steps in order to enable the HWEC function on the card:

1. Click on Options --> cards
2. Click on Advanced Mode
   
   
    
3. Scroll down until you see wanpipe1.conf (the 1 is listed within a drop-down if you have multiple cards or interfaces configured)
   
   
4. Click on the + symbol next to wanpipe1.conf
5. Within the newly opened pane, scroll down until you see TDMV_HWEC = NO
6. Delete the word no and replace it with yes.  You should end up with TDMV_HWEC = YES
   
   
7. Click Apply All Changes at the bottom of the page
