How do I configure Alerts?

  1. Click on Status --> alerts
  2. There are two available sections: System Alerts and Card Alerts
  3. Check the box under the Enable column to turn on the various alerts
  4. Choose the threshold that triggers the alert (measured as a percentage of some line item) from the drop-down.
  5. Enter a valid email address (or email address that forwards to a group of administrators) under the column titled E-mail
  6. Repeat steps 3 - 5 under the Card Alerts section but instead of an alert trigger threshold, choose the alert condition.
  7. Click Save Alerts at the bottom of the page

All of the following alerts are available to you:


Alert Trigger
When your server CPU exceeds? Whenever your CPU usage exceeds the percentage you define
When your hard disk capacity exceeds? Whenever the total amount of hard disk space used exceeds the percentage you define
When your memory swapped exceeds? When the amount of memory used within your Swap Partition* exceeds the percentage you define
When your PBX-specific RAM exceeds? When the amount of RAM used by the PBXtra software (as opposed to the entire Linux Operating System) exceeds the percentage you define
When your total HUD CPU exceeds? When the amount of CPU used by HUD exceeds the percentage you define
When your number of trunks exceeds? When the total number of concurrent calls on your system exceeds the value you define
When your kb/sec received exceeds? When the amount of data you are receiving constantly exceeds the value you define for a period of 5 consecutive seconds
When your kb/sec sent exceeds? When the amount of data you are sending constantly exceeds the value you define for a period of 5 consecutive seconds
When one of your RAID disks? When a failure condition applies to your software RAID. Available failure conditions are 'is missing' and 'fails'
